The Story

Built in 2014, House Aurora was designed by Atelier Aurora with a modern and practical approach, filled with natural light and offering direct access to the outdoors. It’s the perfect retreat for couples, families, or friends seeking to unwind in nature without sacrificing comfort.

  • Not suitable for people with mobility issues
  • Pets are not allowed

Outdoor Area & Patio

The patio is the heart of the house, connected directly to the living room and kitchen. It’s a perfect space for outdoor meals, relaxing naps or spending quality time with the kids.

Location Location!

It’s a beautiful region of Portugal, with different landscapes near Bordeira. You can enjoy the beaches, discover the trails and visit the villages like Vila do Bispo and Lagos. This coast is also very appreciated by surfers from around the world.

Beaches

  • Close by, you’ll find Bordeira Beach (which also has a river) and Amado Beach — both are just a left turn away when you leave Bordeira.
  • Along that road, near Vila do Bispo, you’ll find Carriagem Beach. If you’re looking for calmer waters, head towards Lagos from Vila do Bispo — you’ll come across Zavial and Ingrina beaches.
  • Leaving Bordeira, if you turn right, you’ll find the road to Vale Figueiras on your left after the winding ‘snake road.’ Past Aljezur, there’s also Amoreira Beach, where a river flows into the ocean.

Walking

  • The Costa Vicentina is renowned for its scenic hiking trails, and Bordeira sits right along one of the main trekking routes. In the village, you’ll spot signs marking the trails, and you can also check out this website to explore everything the region has to offer:
